Meet Pumpernickel Cherry

Meet Pumpernickel Cherry

Posted by Theobroma Cacao on

What is from Michigan, fresh, sweet, caffeine injected and ridiculously tasty? The Fall Collection Bon: Pumpernickel Cherry. Michigan cherries and local produce meet Columbian and Ecuadorian chocolate all put together in the best way we know how - right outside Detroit in our little chocolate factory in Hamtramck, Michigan.

There's this thing that Icelandic coffee shops do. They'll give you your latte but they will accompany it with a little piece of chocolate. Even if it's 8am! Ever since having my coffee with chocolate every day for 8 days straight, it almost feels wrong NOT to do enjoy coffee that way? Fast forward two years and a Babe Babe Babe hands me a piece of chocolate and begins to tell me this one's got a pumpernickel espresso dark chocolate ganache - UM YUM (the dream doesn't end there) and it's got a cherry mascarpone ganache (cherry + cheese? yes please)! All the while, I can't help but stare at the itty bitty coffee bean that sits right on top of the Bon Bon Bon.

So next time you're wishing your coffee was served to you with chocolate, remember that now you now you can at least get your chocolate served with coffee. Kinda? Treat yourself to a box get yourself a German Riesling or maybe a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc or a dry oaked Argentinian Malbec, maybe grab some watercolors, take a deep breath and may the notes of cherry and espresso help you to reach tranquility.
