Day Date Ideas in Detroit

Posted by Theobroma Cacao on

Day Date in order? Local to Detroit? We got you. The Babes Babes Babes put their brains together and made you a Detroit Day Date Itinerary so that you don't have to think twice of what to do with your next Tinder date.

1. Cafe Alto

Al, our Business Admin Babe Babe Babe, really thinks you should start your day in Detroit at Cafe Alto and get yourself some of their homemade Espresso Tonic. Oh- and she wants you to know that the staff is very friendly!

2. Vault of Midnight

Check out some fun comics, maybe pick up a board game for later. Definitely don't forget to try your luck at the Detroitland vending machine that's sitting inside and see what kind of cutie retro toy you're able to walk away with.

3. Source Booksellers

Not a fiction or fantasy kinda reader? We get it. The ladies over at Source Booksellers stock non-fiction books up the anti! Ale loves going in, dropping off some chocolate, and picking up a cozy book for later.

4. Roccos Deli

Okay, by this time you've been working up quite the appetite and are in Midtown Detroit. Look no further for a lunch spot. Adrienne loves this spot and usually gets either a Moz and Moz of fun or an Eggplant Parm. Ale will pick up a bottle of wine when she's feeling extra fancy, too.

5. City Bird

So you've had your lunch and you're wondering what to do next. City Bird and Nest (right next door to eachother) are just down the street from Rocco's Deli and are the perfect spots to walk off some lunch at. Peruse the shelves, check out some locally made art, get a cute card for your friend, or maybe get some planters for home! Either way, this place is a must on your Detroit Day Date itinerary.

6. Bon Bon Bon

Shameless plug here, but only because it makes such a great add to the lineup of a date day! You have to get something sweet for the already sweet day you got going for you. You can get one little Bon Bon Bon or a box of 6 for later.

7.  Detroit Shipping Co.

Andrea loves a good time, which is why she really wants you and your date to end your night at Detroit Shipping Co. Live music, open spaces, a variety of food stalls to choose from, and there's a bunch of bars all around the place. It's a great place to kick back and remember how good the rest of the day was.
