We turned 7!

"Haaaaaappy Biiiirthday toooo Bon Bon Bonnnnn!" <<< us singing to ourselves as we celebrate 7 years of our chocolatey existence!!!

Can you believe that!? Bon Bon Bon is se-ven years old! young? Young! Yep. We really are growing up! We aren't quite sure how we got here, it all happened so fast!

7 years ago, we decided to introduce a new kind of chocolate shop to the world. One that didn’t have to be sexy, or fancy with lots of frills and bows. Nah, that just wasn’t us! We just wanted to be a chocolate shop that had good chocolate. That’s it! Chocolate for the people! That was the plan! We were only open on Saturdays and had a hand-written piece of paper up on the door the rest of the days of the week that said “Knock Again if You Have Champagne”. At first we were only kinda kidding. But then we started running out of fridge space for all the champagne peace offerings we were getting, and we started opening our doors 7 days a week without even realizing it.

Neighbors, friends and family would drop in day by day feeding our enthusiasm, experimentation and creativity and things got so nuts that other people starting noticing us! Like really important people!? Peeps like Martha freaking Stewart!? It’s really been a wild ride and everything’s been happening so fast!

So for the last 7 years, us Babes Babes Babes have been rolling up our sleeves and getting straight to work. Different as could be, we share one thing in common: a livelihood and sisterhood based on the idea that Good People Deserve Good Chocolate. Today, we remember our humble(r) beginnings and say thanks for letting us even have a 7th Birthday to celebrate.

We wouldn’t be here, if it weren’t for you. Happy Birthday, Bon Bon Bon!
