My greatest concern is our people and today marks a dramatic shift in the best way to care for and provide for our employees, customers and community.
During many points during a regular day, our retail showrooms host ten or many more than the federally recommended limit of ten people. Our retail employees are interacting with tens if not hundreds of people in a day of work. We cannot, in good conscience, continue operations face-to-face knowing that the Bon experience is omnipresent in full, online. We are closing all retail stores at the end of day today, Tuesday, March 17th, 2020. Our online store and delivery services such as Grub Hub, Door Dash, Postmates, etc are still available at this time from our Hamtramck manufactory, only.
As a small business, Bon Bon Bon has been incredibly lucky to have the support of a network of kind, intelligent and creative industry professionals. Guided by the Babes Babes Babes, this team has devised the best, most transparent support structure possible for our employees. We are not letting anyone go, we are weathering this storm together. Each of us is doing everything we can with the resources that we have to support each other. This is the most creative, intelligent and hard working team we have ever had.
