Built in 1918, the building’s aesthetic mirrors the charm and innovation at the heart of Bon Bon Bon’s brand.
Many moons ago, our friends at Takoi (known once upon a time as Katoi) hosted us and we had a pop up in their backyard. Fast forward and we're back in our once-for-a-brief-moment-forever-now-home.
“We have missed Ann Arbor since our summer pop-up at Takoi ended, and we are thrilled to be back for good.” Founder and President of the six year old company, Alexandra Clark says “As a chocolatier who grew up halfway between Detroit and Ann Arbor, I am thrilled that Bon Bon Bon has the same opportunity to fall in love and feel at home in these two totally unique and vibrant places. I simply can not believe that the bootstrapped weirdo chocolate shop I started in the back room of The Hamtramck Coney Island has made it all the way to the historic Nickels Arcade. It’s a dream come true!”
The 738 sq ft. space is one of two brick and mortars (as of 2022), joining Midtown Detroit location next to Third Man Records and Shinola as well as our Hamtramck manufactory.
Now, in our 2nd year of existence, we have made great neighbors, had a birthday parties, hosted autograph signings, and seen at least 226 different kinds of dogs <3 The shop is open Monday - Saturday 11a-7p & Sunday 12p-6p.
