True to their name, we do feel a bit like we grew up with Sister Pie! Lisa opened the beloved bakery in 2012 out of her parents’ kitchen and we, along with the whole world, have adored them ever since. Similarly, in 2014, Alex started BBB in the back of a Coney Island. More than a decade later, we can’t even begin to count the times we’ve crossed paths at events, tradeshows, dinners, or any major gathering of Detroit foodies.
Two extraordinarily scrappy, Detroit-based, women-owned businesses just absolutely… figuring sh*t out on the fly. We can confidently say we've both celebrated wins and drowned many a hard day/night with a slice of SP pie and a hot cup of coffee.
With our shared love of seasonal local produce, exquisite taste in DET neighborhoods, and a penchant for doing things “the hard way,” one might even spot a bit of a resemblance! This year we’ve thoroughly enjoyed the honor of working closely with Sister Pie to craft twelve limited-edition Bons based on some of their most favorite recipes, just in time for pie season! You’ll find familiar favorites like Banana Pete, Salted Maple, and Ruby Thursday — even a Pocococoa bar that’s our simple love letter to their ~perfect~ pie crust.
Really though, the whole box is a love letter. Both to Sister Pie, and to you Detroit! Neither of us could be here without ya, so we put some extra love into this one. We hope you enjoy!!

About the Collection
Though not actually our sister, we do feel a bit like we grew up with Sister Pie! The beloved, bright corner bakery opened in 2012 and we, along with the whole world, have adored them ever since.
This year we enjoyed the honor of working closely with Sister Pie to craft ten limited-edition Bons plus two Pocococoa bars based on some of their most favorite recipes, just in time for pie season!

All Bons and other chocolate products are shipped in insulated bags, and we also include ice packs as needed.

Based on your location, shipping options may be limited during warmer months to protect your chocolate from melting in transit.
Fall Collection FAQs
When will my order ship or be ready for pickup?
The 2026 Fall Collection is currently available for PRE-ORDER!
SHIPPING ORDERS will ship the week of 10/19. Your order may not ship on that first Monday, but it will ship before the end of that week!
IN-STORE PICKUP ORDERS will be available for pickup on or after 10/23. Please note that pickup is available from our Ann Arbor, Midtown, Downtown, and Birmingham stores (not Ferndale / Rust Belt Market due to limited space).
We ship Monday - Thursday to reduce any chances of your order getting stuck in transit over the weekend and turning into chocolate soup.
We send tracking information via email or text depending on your request at checkout. That way you can follow your box's journey from wherever you are! All Bons are made to order. Please allow us extra time to fulfill your orders during any chocolate-gifting holiday seasons, and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting our handmade process.
When should I order if I want my order to arrive by [date]?
DELIVERY DATE = ORDER DATE + [DAYS FOR FULFILLMENT] + [DAYS IN TRANSIT]
We can predict how long it will take us to fulfill your order, and you can choose your desired speed for UPS to ship your order. Use your target delivery date to work backwards and decide when to order!
What is "fulfillment?" We want you to know that it takes time for us prep + pack your order before we hand the package over to UPS. This doesn't happen instantly! We request up to 3 days to fulfill orders: sometimes we fulfill same-day, and sometimes it takes us 2 or 3 days. And, this means orders placed Thursday - Sunday will likely ship the following week.
What is "transit?" If you select a speedy shipping method like UPS Next Day Air, it means that after 1-3 days (that's fulfillment!), we will ship your order and UPS will deliver it the next day. It will spend 1 day in transit! It doesn't mean your order will appear the day after you place it — we still need time to fulfill your order! UPS 2nd Day Air has a 2-day transit time. UPS Ground transit times vary by distance from Detroit and range from 1-5 days.

How do I order for in-store pick up?
Add the collection to your cart, then proceed to checkout. Under "Delivery Method", select "Pickup", then choose your preferred pickup location!
