Catching up on writing this blog post now because we all may have been napping on Monday 😴😋 WHAT A WEEKEND IT WAS! Turns out when you combine opening night at the new Birmingham location with a Spring Collection drop and Mother's Day weekend, you're in for a wild ride!
The first order of business was removing the beautiful "coming soon" sign painted by none other than Detroit muralist Kelly Golden herself, and while we were sad to see this adorable red and white cloud go, each chip of paint revealed the Bon Bon Bon pink shop interior of our dreams.

Our new location on 217 S Old Woodward Avenue, happens to be right next door to the Birmingham 8 Theater, so we couldn't help getting an industrial sized bag of popcorn for the occasion 🍿 Combined the most delicious S'mores & PB & Jam macarons from Sugar Honey and a grazing board that we're still dreaming about from Thyme & Honey, we almost didn't have any room for chocolate... almost... 😉

It was amazing to be able to share Bons with longtime customers (the one and only Naveed stopped by!) and to make some new friends (we're looking at you, Bakehouse 46 💕). Did we also mention that we got the cutest ever group photo of all the Bon Bon Bon Babies in front of the new store?

One of the most widely coveted aspects of the Birmingham location (aside from all the Bons, of course) has been the Bon Bon Bon movie posters! We've been receiving messages from far and wide asking us if these posters are for sale. The answer is no (or at least... not yet... 🤔👀) but we did host a raffle in celebration of our store opening, with one lucky winner receiving the "It's a Bon, Bon, Bon, Bon World" poster, as well as a $150 gift card and a bag-o-swag! 🎉

We also had help putting together the most Bon goodie bags a soft opening has ever seen 😍 A huge thank you to Rock Paper Scissors, RoosRoast Coffee, Third Man Records, The Rust Belt Market, and City Bird for your patches, pins, pencils, and stickers. Thank you also to our new friends Urban Wick Candle Bar, Coola, and Blossom Bright Candle Co, as well as our Parker's Alley neighbors The Aroma Labs for your scented goodies!
And so, to end the night with a little sweet treat (because how could we not 😋) we enjoyed the most beautiful Lavender Blueberry cake from Venla's Cakes.

Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated Birmingham with us, it wouldn't have been what it was without you all ⭐ Lights, Camera, Action! Bon Bon Bon Birmingham is now open for business 🎬🎥
