Olive Oil & Sea Salt has returned from the OG line up of 2014 ✨ A silky rosemary caramel with Maldon salt and coarse pepper, inside an inverted Bon shell. Olive oil is normally an ingredient you would think of for savory dishes, and while it is delicious on roast potatoes, in salad dressing, and as a dip with bread and vinegar, it also has its place in the world of sweets too 🍫 Olive Oil Ice Cream with Flaky Salt was everywhere this year, and we're not mad about it. We were also lucky enough to have dinner at a newly opened restaurant in Ann Arbor, Echelon, where the dessert was a milk chocolate cremeux, toasted sourdough, hazelnut crunch, and a sourdough ice cream, generously drizzled with smoked olive oil 😍

This Bon brings together everything that is good about olive oil and everything that is good about caramel and it locks them together inside a blue speckled shell 🫶🏼 Olive Oil & Sea Salt wasn't always capped with chocolate though, as this photo from the Bon archives shows. At the top we have the Mustachio (referred to as "clean shaven" in the caption 😂) and in the middle is Orange Americano. At the bottom you can see the OG Bon #46 — Olive Oil & Sea Salt! You can see the shiny caramel, sprinkled with a layer of dried rosemary and sea salt 💕
