Black Like My Heart is a Bon that makes you want to immediately listen to bands like My Chemical Romance and Dashboard Confessional. It's dark, moody, and mysterious, but it leaves you with the reassuring fact that you're not alone🖤
Another all time favorite from the 2018 Valentine's Day Collection, Black Like My Heart is what cookies and cream wishes it could be, with alkalized cocoa ganache, vanilla bean, and a black cocoa cookie. We actually lucked in to taking home a leftover tray of the cookies and cream heart once the production run was over, it it remains to this day one of the best things to ever happen to us.
Like Bitter Bitch, Black Like My Heart has also had some decor updates since 2018. Past variations used to feature a piped white chocolate heart, rather than a molded cookies and cream heart. It even used to be in a white chocolate shell, but we decided if you're going to call a Bon Black Like My Heart you may as well go all in with the dark chocolate right? 🖤
As heart breaking as it may be, Black Like My Heart is only going to be available in the Back From the Dead Collection. There are some (us included) that think that this Bon should be available year round in packs of 100, and we can dream right?
