Welcome to our Bon Bon Bon Winter Collection flavor reveal ✨ Up first is the Almond Lemon'd! It's like the most perfect almond poundcake you ever tasted, encased in a white chocolate shell.
We turned the almond poundcake into a crème filling and added a lemon curd American buttercream icing on top. Decorated with a drizzle of almond ganache, a yellow Bon Bon Bon mendiant, and a sprinkling of nonpareils for good measure, the Almond Lemon'd was born!
As part of our Bon Family Recipes Collection, the Almond Lemon'd was inspired by Production Manager Juan. The production Babes had baked a lemon, almond, and poppyseed cake for a past Bon, and Juan LOVED the smell — but was not so much a fan of poppyseeds. He incorporated these cake flavors (sans the poppyseed) into his poundcake, and it's been his favorite ever since! Now as our Production Manager, Juan is making tray after tray of his very own Almond Lemon Poundcake Bon 🩷 Thank you Juan! Not just for keeping our stores stocked with our Regular Collection Bons all day every day, but also for creating a new tradition, in Bon form 🍫
